Default [Resolved] Installing Windows 2000

So I have an older computer that is currently runningWindows 98SE however since most programs now only support Windows 2000 or higher I figure seeing as I have a Windows 2000 installation disk that I should upgrade.

The thing is, I have a few concerns. For one, is my computer which is a Pentium 2, 128MB RAM and 10GB hard drive capable of running Windows 2000?

Secondly, I don't have drivers for my graphics card, sound card, network etc. and would I need to find those?
My Video is : Matrox Millenium II AGP (MGA 2164WA-B)
Sound: Crystal PnP (eX4235-XQ3)
Network Card: Realtek RTL 8029 (AS) PCI Ethernet NIC

Thirdly, which edition of Windows 2000 would be best to install. I have Proffessional, Server and Advanced Server all with SP4 updates.

Thanks

Hi Jor,

How fast is the Pentium 2?

Also, what make and model is your PC?

Hmm I'm not sure where to check for that?

All I see is that I have a Genuine Intel Pentium(r) II Processor.

And my PC is something I've just thrown together using a combination of 2 old PC's. If there's somewhere I can look in my PC or anything let me know and I"ll do my best to find out more information.

Yep, if you have Windows already installed, you can download SIW from here: |MG| Free Download - SIW (System Info) 1.69 (Build 632)

Nothing to installed, simply run it, and scroll down to Hardware > Motherboard. You will find you CPU information in here.

So the PC is custom built? Shouldn't be any problems finding those drivers for you.
