Question [Answered] system32/hal.dll problem cured but...

How do I prevent this problem of System32/hal.dll missing or corrupt thus stopping boot up, from happening again?
I found that the boot.ini file corrupted and fixed it through the recovery mode in Win XP.
This has happened twice in the last 2.5 months

Hi there guys
The only real cause to this, if it happens again and again....is a virus, or there's something on your system...perhaps even your hard drive has a bad block on it.
