Hi Stealth212 and welcome to PCHF , If you have a Windows XP CD you can perform a repair install. Restart your PC and either tap F2 or Delete on your keyboard to access your computers Bios. Once in here look for a tab called boot (using the arrow keys on your keyboard). Scrool down and make changes so that the CD Rom is the first boot device and the hard disk is the second. Put the XP CD in the drive, restart the computer and it should boot from it. I have written a guide on how to perform a repair install: http://www.pchelpforum.com/tutorials...indows-xp.html

You may end up paying for a new XP CD - here is the Microsoft replacement policy: Microsoft Press CD-ROM and Floppy Disk Replacement Policy

rundll32 problems can generally be fixed by going to Windows Update.
And if you get a "Send Error Report" option, do so...as there may very well be a solution provided by Microsoft
