Rodents210.. hiya.. yes tried that one too... so puzzzled..????? I did try the reapir option and reinstalll option before coming here...it gets past a couple of pages like installing compents.. then stops and restatrs boot.
Do i chuck the pc through nearest window??

Is your Windows XP legit? Or is it a pirated copy?

It's supposed to restart. When it restarts, just keep the disk in and let it go without the whole "press any key to boot from CD" thing. Leave it alone after it starts installing and when it restarts, it'll continue automatically if you don't boot from the CD.
