We are sorry for the inconvenience."Error.This happens even though my pc is only a few months old from custom parts and with all the required programs installed.Ideas?Thanks.

Uninstall the "Vista Upgrade Advisor".

Done that tried it.Reinstalled repaired installed.Etc.

I didn't say reinstall it.
Uninstall it and leave it uninstalled.
Then, see if the error returns.
You don't need the Vista Upgrade Advisor on your computer.

I know but i want it on!so i can check when my friend gets me vista key for my bday(hes rich lol)

What does Event Viewer tell you about the application crash?

start > run
type: evenvwr.exe
Left click "ok".
Maximize the screen.
On the left you will have 3 or 4 categories [ 4 if you have IE 7 installed ].
Left click "applications".
On the right, look for errors that occurred at the time you ran the advisor.

Repeat for "system" on the left.

If you find errors, RIGHT click on them.
Left click "properties".
Give us the source, event ID & description.
You can use your mouse to copy the information in the description area.
Use ctrl + c to copy.

Post any info back into this thread for analysis
