Question [Answered] Kudos to whoever can manage to solve my problem . Please help :(

Okay so here`s my problem. At first I had this virus that kept popping up things about systemdoctor. yeah so I tried to removed it with SmitRem, SmitFraudFix, RogueRemover, HijackThis 1.99.1, CCleaner - Fre

I used the scan in RogueRemover
The cleaner in CCleaner
The scan in HijackThis
And clean in SmitFraudFix
And clicked the runthis in SmitRem.

So after all this I was like okay I think I got rid of the problem. So I restarted the computer and when I logged in, I see a blank desktop, no taskbar, no icons no nothing but a screen. Then there was a popup saying I was missing wininet.dll file. So I was like :0 I pressed ctrl + alt + delete and ran firefox.

Then I stumbled along this topic: http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/...ad.php?t=90088
and got the icons + taskbar to show up by using C:Windows\Explorer.exe . By now I thought I was saved and everything is back to normal.

But I was wrong. My icons and taskbar keep appearing and disappearing. Like for one second they show and the next its back to nothingness. I can't run system restore without it showing a blank white window. I managed to put the wininet.dll file into the system folder but the problem still persists.

I think I accidently deleted some stuff in my registry which is causing my problems but I don't know how to restore it. HELP?

to PCHF.

Let's take this in two stages.
First, let's have our Security people do their thing, then we'll see about getting your computer back to proper operating condition. OK?

You may have done some of this before, but let's take it from the top.
Click on the Pre-Work link in my signature area and follow the directions.
Please don't use any old logs. Run everything fresh. Thanks.

So I tried running the antisoftware Gandalf suggested, but my computer does not load the program. I cannot even load my firefox anymore, but I can still see my desktop and icons. It lags when I click on firefox and refuses to load. I do not have the windows cd anymore so any other help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you buy yourself a new copy of XP Pro SP2. You will need the CD to fix your computer.
