go dwnload process explorer form the link in my signature an use it to see if the services running may be an issue. I notice that windows update was using a ton of processor so I ended the services an all was good. It may not solve the problem long term but it will give you an idea of what it may be...
to use, right click on a particular service and chose properties and end whatever process you don't think you need and watch the mem an
cpu numbers in the lower left corner of the screen if they decrease you know which proc or svc is causing the issue...you can also do the pre work (my sig) and post your logs and someone will have a look and advise you from there...
