Hi all. I am hoping this is the right place to post this! I have a HP 543x Win XP Home ED.
The screen will come on then go right back off, except when I hit F-10 then it come up in the recovery screen. When I start the recovery everything seems to go fine until it gets to this ...missing or corrupt \windows\system32\configsystem

No I don't. Can I reinstall Win XP Home ED and fix this or upgrade to XP Prof?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'll have to get in touch with HP. Which comes at a cost i believe.
