I did an Aromax scan. It found the 2 bottom items. I have no idea what they are. I can not find IE5 anywhere on the pc. Only IE7.

Yea, sorry i forgot to mention that
IE5 was released in windows 2000...doing that in ie7 will be fine.
And probably best to do those other steps in Safe Mode

Here's a scan of the search for .bak
I'll go take a look see but I didn't find any IE7 in Local settings and temp either
The second one is clearer.

Reason I ask, is we may need to get all your photos off your computer, and do a reinstall of windows
Last resort type of thing, but every reference i'm finding to this error is either "reinstall" for a solution...or it's a hardware failure
