I run MS Office XP small business version 2002 (original software, not a copy). Whenever I open MS Word or MS Excel the spell checker immediately comes on screen and I cannot close it. It starts with a box saying 'spell check is complete' then when I ok that or delete it then goes to the full spell check box and I cannot ok, cancel or delete, it just beeps. The only way I have to get rid is 'ctrl alt del'. I have virus scanned with nothing found and cannot find anything online to help. I have also removed MS Office and reloaded it but that didn't help either. You will appreciate that a laptop without word or excel is next to useless. It is driving me mad, anyone know what to do?
I looked at MS website but they want $40 per question -unbelievable!
