Question [Answered]Sending Photos

Sorry, I really don't know what category to put this under , but.......is there a way to send photos from my pc to someone's cell phone? My Sidekick II won't allow it. I have Windows XP Pro and use both Road Runner and AOL.

Hi there , and welcome to Pchf.

There's 3 ways really,

1) USB connection from Pc to Phone.
2) Infrared connection from PC to Phone.
3) Bluetooth connection from PC to Phone.

Option 1, I know here in the uk quite often with phones you get a usb cable free which connects to the pc.

Option 2 :If your phone only support's Infrared and your pc has it, you can do this option.

Option 3, most phone's now use Bluetooth, if your's has Bluetooth, you can buy a Bluetooth dongle for as cheap as £5.99 which is around $12 I think.

Hope I've helped

What Cellphone have you got by the way?.

I have a TMobile Sidekick, but I'm afraid my question was not clear.

I live in Florida and want to send a photo oto my niece's cell phone in NC. She has Alltell.

Also, the Sidekick does not have a USB cable and you cannot send photos from the Sidekick using a cell phone number, only by using an email address.

I am not a computer tech, just more or less a novice but, hope this might help you some

I have Verizon and they have many local stores where you can go and get help. Just an idea. You might also have your niece to ask her cell phone company, I am sure they can help you both. Also you just might want to go to your Computer computer manufacture ie; HP, Compaq etc,,,,

Good luck,, Rich

Hi guys,
There are only 2 ways to send from your phone, to the other phone in another city...

MMS (costs money) or transfer them to your PC, email them to your neices email address, so she can upload them to her phone.
