Default [Resolved] automatic restart

My computer has a habbit of restarting itself or freezing and then i have to turn it off by the button. This usually happends while im playing games. It does it VERY often and i dont know what the problem is. I have noticed that this never started happening until i added more memory to my computer, but i don't think that should be the problem. Can any one help?

Hello Paintballguy,

Welcome to PCHF!

Faulty memory is a common cause of random restarts and computer crashes. When your PC restarts, do you recieve a blue screen of death?

Welcome to PC Help Forum.

Let's try and stop the re-start (!?) first of all and then we'll see if we get a diagnostic blue screen of death (BSOD). Please follow these instructions: Turn off Reboot on Error option

Please post back when you receive your first BSOD.

EDIT: OMG MM you really are a busy monkey this evening!!

When your PC next restarts, you should have a blue screen of death instead of your PC simply restarting. After you receive that blue screen of death, have a look as BSOD's on my signature. It will tell you how to post a dump/log file back here for analysis.
