OK, unless anybody else has any further CPU suggestions, I think we need to move on. We have not ruled out CPU problems, but I believe ruling out every other possibility is the step forward. Once every other possibility is ruled out, then we can come back to the CPU.
Judging by your BSOD's, another possible cause is faulty memory. We can use memtest for this one, and it does take a few hours.
