Question [Answered] INTERRUPTS takes the CPU

Whit no patern in it a process called interrupts uses from nowhere all the CPU and some time later stops using all the CPU. This causes major lags in using the computer (what also happens is that the mouse-pointer freezes but the mouse is still active so when you e.g. go over a hyperlink it becomes underlined). What is this process (google made me even more confused ) and why is it so demanding? Can i stop this?
See attachtment (took it from Process Explorer, not TaskManager)...
Thanks!

Robin

Your attachment says "hardware interrupt".

Remove any hardware that the computer does not need.
Video card, sound card, external HDD, strip it down to the bare minimums.
Check the memory strips. Do they have the same make/model?
If they're different, put only one in the computer.

Disconnect from the internet. If the computer has a network card, remove it.

Go to the Device Manager.
Look for any devices that have a ? or ! on it or a category called Other.
Delete these devices (not uninstall - Delete with the Delete key). Reboot.

Now do you still get the same "Interrupts".

If the interrupts have stopped, put one (1) item back in at a time until the interrupts start again. Whatever is the last item that you put back in is probably your villain.

Good Luck...
