Windows XP/2000 - [Fixed] microsoft works not working please help posted in the Operating Systems forums; hi im having trouble loading my microsft works word processer i can open the task launcher though. i have reinstalled twice and restarted my comp as well i get this ...

hi

im having trouble loading my microsft works word processer
i can open the task launcher though.

i have reinstalled twice and restarted my comp as well

i get this message

Hi,

Did you also delete the "works" folder in Program Files after you uninstalled the program?

Yes, try that.

Uninstall > remove the folder > restart > re-install

the complete folder as soon as i click open the programme files in c drive ??

as its all pre-installed drivers should it just come up on the screen when i re load as i dont have the disks

Double click on Program Files, and then find the Works folder and delete it. Whats the make and model of your PC?

its a sony vaio laptop vgn-fs115e

i just dont want to lose everything by deleting the folder as no disks
