Question [Answered] Ram Sticks wondering if they will work

Hey guys, I have foune 3 ram sticks. I am wondering if they will work on my pc.
The first Ram stick says this
PC66 And the other Ram stick says this:ValueRam KVR100X64C2/128

And my pc is running on xp an Hewlet-Packard
Pavilion intel(R)
Celeron(R) CPU 2.00GHz

Board: Intel Corporation NBGV - Northwood/Brookdale-G Validation Board
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD 6.00 09/25/2002

If I've done my home work correctly Bighomedog11 your HP uses DDR PC2100. The ram you found will not work in your machine. The ValueRam KVR100X64C2/128 ia a PC100/128meg.

ya i tryed it wouldnt even boot up. Soo i took it out.. Well ill sell them on Ebay then. What kinda of Ram stick do i need?

Assuming that the mentioned "DDR PC2100" is correct (didn't check right now), that's precisely what you need to look or ask for. Make sure it says DDR and PC2100.

To be totally sure- you can use the Ram Upgrade link in my sig... you don't have to buy there-- but the scanner will tell you exactly what you need
