Yeah I am not sure whats going on at present, intend to ring him shortly, I have had the fan off,cleaned it all, the comp is always kept clean as we have wood fire here so its amazing how quick it dust accumulates I actually physically stopped the fan and the noise stopped.

I am just hoping he has not damaged the mobo when trying to fit the new cpu cooler and resorting to covering any mistakes.

i know what u mean about being ripped off, that why as to date i have verified that no dollars are involved.

I'd say that is whats going on this is not good . I'd make them put it back the way it was I can get you a standard intel fan for $10.00 I'd be happy to post it to you

75 bucks!! jeesuz! i dont think even pc world charge that much across the pond. sounds to me like they're trying to bleed u dry. did they replace the fan after all or not? because if they didnt they're probs scamming...

Thats the flat rate in OZ when you think about it it is about the same in the US by the time you do the $$$ conversions.

I think there trying to scam Cart for sure.
