[Answered] Constantly need to install Video Card Driver
Hello all...
with my windows 2000 PC everytime I shutdown it seems to create a problem with the video card driver. When I turn the PC back on the screen resolution is something like 600 x 800 (and it cannot be adjusted) when it is usually 1024 x 768 or something like that.
To fix it I have to go into device manager where the display adapter is shown with the yellow ! icon. I have to re-install/update the driver to get it to work properly again...
I am wondering if anyone knows how to fix this problem ???
it pretty probably that he has the latest windows update, as they stopped 2000 updates like a billion years ago, but yer the drivers may be the problem, try other drivers like omega for ati and whatever others there are for nvidia
Try this at post boot tap f8 a few time boot the PC in safe mode then go to device manager under display adapter remove all listed most likely some extras there once removed reboot the PC and reinstall the drivers. Did that fix it?
