Question [Answered] Constantly need to install Video Card Driver

Hello all...

with my windows 2000 PC everytime I shutdown it seems to create a problem with the video card driver. When I turn the PC back on the screen resolution is something like 600 x 800 (and it cannot be adjusted) when it is usually 1024 x 768 or something like that.

To fix it I have to go into device manager where the display adapter is shown with the yellow ! icon. I have to re-install/update the driver to get it to work properly again...

I am wondering if anyone knows how to fix this problem ???

Got the latest Windows Update? You sure you have the proper latest driver from nVidia/ATI for Windows 2000?

it pretty probably that he has the latest windows update, as they stopped 2000 updates like a billion years ago, but yer the drivers may be the problem, try other drivers like omega for ati and whatever others there are for nvidia
