Question [Answered] Recover deleted folders

Ugh I'm really mad right now.

I accidently deleted a folder, SOMEHOW.

I don't know how, it just dissapeared.

Is there a way to recover it

I didn't delete it off desktop, so it's not in the recycle bin.

EDIT : It was kinda weird, because it was a 9gig folder. It should've shown the delete progress bar, but no, just poof.

I dont have any experience with it but the people that make CCleaner also do a system restore type product, worth giving that a go?

Also you sure you deleted? ive moved one folder into another by accident before which, as its a quicker process, doesnt bring up the progress bar (mind u it wasnt 9gb)

Well first thing I thought of was System Restore. Do you have a recent restore point that you can rely on?

spectre, i would say that you should look in all the folders near the one that you "deleted, you probably dragged it into one of those by accident, ive done it before, once with a 30gig folder, it only takes a few second because it doesnt actually have to move the files, it just changes the root directory so its only modifying a few lines of code instead of all 9gig of them

EDIT:spelling
