Question [Answered] Recycle Bin

Hi Everyone,

I need help!! I don't have much free space left on my disk. The last time I refraged it told me to delete some files. When I go to delete it goes directly to the Recycle Bin. I contacted Mircosoft and was told to go to properties in the Recyle Bin, but when I do there is no provision to remove files, They said there should be a box that you check, but I didn't see one. Could someone please help me. would very much appreciate it.
Thanks

Try to restore the items then use shift + delete this should bypass the recycle bin all together.

That will work.

Going to Properties of the Recycle Bin should work as well, I don't see any reason why it won't. Under the 'Global tab', do you see an option "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted'? This option can be unticked.

To open space in your C: drive, click on Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup
Select the C: drive
Click OK
Place a check mark in each box
Click OK
What it ask if your are sure, click Yes

This program should also clean out your Recycle box.

Good Luck...
