Default [Pending] Welcome screen takes more than 30 seconds

Well my welcome screen takes along time to get to the desktop and i am virus free.It really isnt much but still annoying.Also my pc which has a dual core processor takes like 1 minute to startup while it used to take one.

Sorry for the delay, I missed this thread.

Could be because that the prorat trojan was not entirely removed, and it was still trying to run as a Windows service. Do you have a reliable registry cleaning software that you can run?

it could just be dumb luck, i know one day a while back my xp was booting fine, i installed one virus, spyware and malware free, free game,, and BOOM at takes 2 times as long to boot, m$ really needs to look into some of their problems with booting

AND to top it all off, even after uninstalling countless apps, and disabling nearly everything on boot, malware ect free pc it still doesnt go back to its old boot time
