I have no idea what happened but within a month, my computer has gone straight down the gutter. I run ad aware every day and anti virus scans. I had recently had a sponsered advertising software removed(and whoever made them deserves to suffer eternal hell) but i dont think i removed everything. I run CCcleaner and removed every unnessary programs.

I usualy play half life and such but after the incident, i found that my ping has gotten higher and there is a lot more lag. Please help me, if i need to include any other information tell me.

Check the fragmentation on your HDD. If its high its most likely reason why the computer has slowed down. Usually happens when you delete a lot of stuff from the drive. I have experienced a stutter while playing games and even freezes during games because my drive was badly crapped. Ita a real real pain.
