Default Send or Don't Send Nightmare.

I've got one for you guys, and trust me, it's tricky. Okay, for the most part my computer runs smoothly, x800 pro nvidia, Intell D865PERL motherboard, but every time I'm on internet explorer for more then 1 or 2 minutes I get a "Send or Don't Send" error and it closes down. The error is most frequent while I'm interacting with internet explorer, especially typing, in fact I had to write this in MSWord because it closed down on me 3 times trying to create this thread. It will close down other times, but its highly frequent while in current useage.

Also, all of my games and applications have errors, for Lord of the Rings: BFME II it's the dreaded "game.dat" error, for Company of Heros its the 131 error, or it will just give me a "Send or Don't Send" error and close down. So naturally I can't help but think that these two problems are somehow related. I wiped my hard drive twice, to no avail, and also bought new RAM, also to no avail. Please send reinforcements!

Thanks in advance,
Etaywah

Ok, just so you know for next time.. you posted this in the Windows 95/98/Me forum, no problem though.. I moved it for you.

As to your problem, put the Windows XP Install CD into your CD Drive and go to start > run and type in sfc /scannow. It will search for missing or corrupt windows files and fix them. Also, send all of the error reports to Microsoft (press send when you get them). Also make sure that Windows is up to date here: Microsoft Windows Update

Thanks,
Adam
