Default Windows can't load ....

Hi again ,

I'm having a problem with loading Windows :
I was on my computer when I got a blue screen ( BSOD I think ). I restarted my computer and Windows didn't load. After the loading screen the computer just restarted again . I found a Windows XP CD which I got with my laptop and tried to repair it . I went to the boot menu and selected to boot from CD . I pressed repair and I got this message :

Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.

Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplie diagnostic or setup program.

Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.

Please help ...

Windows does not like mixing and matching Windows Installation CDs.
Suggest your find the correct Windows Installation CD for the PC with the problem.

Once you find it, place it in your CD drive and boot off of the CD. Select the R option.

After that, return here and we can continue the troubleshooting.

Good Luck...

Can't get into safe mode , computer restarts just like on normal startup.

I went to BIOS > Boot

1st Boot Device [1st FLOPPY DRIVE]
2nd Boot Device [IDE:Hitachi HDS721]
3rd Boot Device [CD/DVD:SS-DVD DC D]
