Hi there.
There are a number of different linux distributions which I assume is what you're talking about,distrowatch has a decent list and info on each distro and where you can download them. Most distributions will provide a download link on their home page and information on writing the disk and installing if you're not familiar with that. In the case of ubuntu it is Download Ubuntu | Ubuntu I'm not sure what kind of computer you have so "Standard personal computer (x86 architecture, PentiumTM, CeleronTM, AthlonTM, SempronTM)" "Desktop edition" would likely be the best choice.
