Hello, and welcome to PCHF.

A BSOD can mean several things, including a malware infection. However in your case, I don't see any indication of such in your log. What is the message that you get for your BSOD? Try to get a screenshot if possible, as well as:

I'll be moving to to the WinXP forum, for the tech team to have a look.

If you can boot, and it sounds like you can, go to C:\WINDOWS\Minidump and post back, attaching any files in that folder to your next post.
