Xp Sp2 start up problem
Greetings
Firstly let me say what a wonderful resource this web site is. The problem started when installing a program that seemed to have a virus in it or my anti virus (bull Guard) mistaken some part of the program for a virus my system jambed up and on restart it just keeps repeating the restart cycle. I scanned for virus and used two different reg cleaners .but it still repeats the start up I can use the puter in safe mode but thats all.  Nebo82 |

With the computer off, try removing the power cord from the computer for 30 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord.

And have you tried restoring the quarantine in BullGuard? I believe you can do that even in Safe Mode.

Well that did't work and I can see noting from the operating system in the quarantine. As there is lots in the quarantine I not sure Ied like to try that. Im certain Ill have to go into some thing in the system it self what do you suggest? Nebo |
