Arrow [Fixed] "No Audio Device" detected after reformat

Hello,

I had a corrupt HD and had to get a new one. After installing the new HD I then had to reformat my computer. Then after getting things, that were on my computer prior to the reformat, I came to realize that there was no audio. I went to the control panel, audio area, and it claimed that I had no audio device. I know I have one because before I had a Realtek High Definition Sound Driver. I believe I have correctly installed the drivers again, but it is still not working. I also found some people with the same problem but none of their solutions fixed mine.

Here is some specs that may help:

Nvidia GeForce 6100 Series

Hope this information can help you help me. I'm very thankful for your help ahead of time, even if you can't solve my problem.

Thanks ahead of time,

P.S.
The computer that is broke is my brother's, not the one I am currently on. I will try and use some of the system information programs (SIW, SysSpec) to get more spec information when I get the time. (have to leave soon)

Well, usually you can download the latest driver from the manufacture's website.
Maybe is this the one you need?:
techPowerUp! :: Download Realtek HD Audio Driver v1.66
Let me know...

Red face Thank You!!!

Thanks a lot man! I swear that I tried to get the Realtek HD Audio Driver but nothing happened so I didn't know what to do. Apparently you sent me to a more updated version or the correct one or something. Thanks a lot again and again!
