I just don't know what else to do. idk why this pc went on the fritz. I'm about to toss it out the window. Well, I would but unfortunately I can't afford another at the moment. If I can't do something to fix this thing Rick has to buck up and get a repairman. He just started a new job after 4 month's of waiting for his permits and paperwork. Needless to say things are tight for a while. I can't use the pc for his work if it ain't working. lol I can't attach files and I can't insert pictures in emails either. New thing I found.

You could use Mozilla Firefox first though - it's fast, free and supposedly more secure thatn Internet Explorer:
Firefox - Rediscover the Web

The tech team may have more to add to solve the problem.

I've tried to download it. lol. I can't see a download button on any site I go to or it won't download I thought it may be IE7 but now I'm starting to think it's something else. Here's a partial list pf things I've found...Problems found....1) Windows or something is not recognizing Java Script.2) I can not run a PCPitstop.3) Here's the error I get when trying to access my JP Morgan account...Your browser is not capable of viewing this site because it does not support JavaScript or JavaScript may be disabled. Please enable JavaScript or use the browser version that supports it.4) "search" does not have the "words" to run a search. The dog is there but the balloon window is gone.5) ie7. For some odd reason it does not give a version, ciper strength or product id. 6) I also can not access the Windows Update site.7) Pogo won't load games. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled Java.8) I did try a Driver Agent scan.It said ...Instant Access to 112,818 Device Driver Updates Javascript Disabled DriverAgent requires that javascript be enabled. If you are using Internet Explorer, The ActiveX control also requires that VBScript is enabled. Vista-Agent.com Javascript Disabled) I also can't select any of the emoticons on here or other web sites. They do show up if I type them.10) I can't delete yahoo emails. Soooo, the emails are piling up pretty bad. Emails are blank.11) I can delete from my phone companies web junk filter but the select all button doesn't show up at all. I have to go thru them i at a time. grrr12) Wordpad does not ask if I want to save. I have to manually save the click away the wordpad. I'm sure there's more I either forgot or haven't encountered yet.
Oh, and I can't post without it all running together whether I seaparate the text or not on this forum.
I'm getting so frustrated with this thing it's horrible. Whats my next option. Besides TNT and a match.
Opps. Found another problem. My pc won't remember user names, passwords or forms. I have all the boxes checked. Some web sites it will for a little while and some it remembers the user name and not the password. Some not at all.

Wo-ah, there's quite a lot.

Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow

This command will immediately start the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem.

Here's the direct download link for Firefox if it'll help:
