Default software for error reports

i have been looking at error killer
it sound like the software i need as i get error reports when i shut the comp down
something like memory couldnt be written or something 0x00000004 ?

wondering if theres any free ware out there you no off i can get without paying for error killer

hello a880tt, and welcome to pchf. why not try to solve the problem instead?

go to start > run > eventvwr.msc. That will open an explorer like window with applications, security, and system in the left pane. Click on system and see if there are any exclamation points near to when it last froze; if so, double click on the item in the right pane, click on the two pieces of paper to copy it to your clipboard, and then come back here and paste the results. Then do the same for the applications folder.

will that sort the error problem when shut down ?

OXO320BOAA THEN 0X0000001 pretty sure its that

anyway i will try the above

neither 0X0320B0AA nor 0X0320B0AA returned any hits......next time you get the error, if you could write down what it says exactly, that way we can figure out what's going on....the eventvwr is where windows writes all the system events to, and if you are getting an error of any kind, it should be writing it to that.

ive tried the above you said
came up with loads of errors and warnings
but no exclamation marks?

i will right the error down but the thing is it comes on just before the laptop shuts off so not alot of time lol

got the code on shut down
but its different

0x69532047 then it says something about memory im sure then 0x00000000 im sure
