I think you just have a corrupt windows file, easy enough to fix. Insert your Windows Install disk into the CD-ROM drive and go to Start > Run and type in
sfc /scannow. It will scan your computer for missing or corrupt Windows files and replace them from the CD. When it finishes, restart your computer.
