Exclamation Computer Over Hearting

Date: i've had my computer for nearly a year. The probably started happening a few months ago.

Problem: My computer runs smoothly for about the first 20 minutes of use. After 20 minutes, my computer keeps hotter and hotter. I use a Toshiba Satellite Notebook. The motherboard (I think its the motherboard) is on the very top left of the notebook. The laptop only heats up in that place. It will overheat until it turns off. I think the overheating is the reason why my battery doesn't work anymore. When it overheats videos, gaming, processing time etc. slow consirderablly. The graphics hiccup more and more. I bought a chill mat, but that didn't help.

Computer Specs:

Windows XP HE/ SP2
896 MB RAM

ATI Radeon XPress 200M Series Graphics Card

Stop using that computer. You are going to fry the processor if this continues! You need a new fan for your CPU, probably. Take it to a local PC shop and ask them for a new fan for your laptop and they will be able to get you one.

Good luck,
Adam
