Default IE7 slow loading

Hi Guys
I have a problem with internet explorer
When I start IE it takes 30 sec. to load.I uninstalled ie7 and returned to IE6 but have the same problem. Once in explorer the browser is working fine.
Firefox and The world browser load in 12 sec.
Any help. Thank's

How much RAM do you have? Also what is the speed of your processor?

512 MB of RAM and a Mobile Sempron processor 3100+
OS is windows XP sp2

I have the log reports but I cannot find the download icon on the post page .

All microsoft updates are up to date.
