Default Automatic Updates

I am having some problems with my Automatic Updates on my spare computer. I use it quite a bit and am on it right now. I have it set to auto download updates and I will pick when to install them. Every time I get the same update and it always says it worked, but it keeps coming back. I don't get any other updates and have to manually run a Microsoft Update with IE to get my updates. The update I keep getting is: "Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components (KB832483)". It is running Windows 2000 Professional for the record.

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Hi,

Yea, it's a bit of a known issue that one. A simple fix is to install MDAC from here: Download details: MDAC 2.8 - then run auto update again, that should sort it for you
