Exclamation Now here is a problem I have never seen...

Hello all this is my first time for using this forum so please dont drill me on the "this is the wrong section for this post" please and thank you!

My problem is that when I start my xp pro mechine it runs fine while it is on but when I restart it right after it has just been on, it runs like ****! but if I let it sit it comes on extremely fast.

I have checked the ram and suppose it is the problem but through further inspection i think that the ram is getting too hot and every time i load my account win xp comes up with the WINDOWS HAS JUST RECOVERED FROM A SERIOUS ERROR! and I read the error report and it tells me that c/:windows/system something.dmp
and My documents/something.xml are the cause of the error report the only program that I have any sub folders for in that directory is google toolbar

here is a list of my computer specs at the moment:

-352mb of ram

-1.10 GHs. processor

30Gb. harddrive

My case is a shuttle minion

I would suggest upgrading the RAM no matter whether it's the problem or not. 512mb isn't even enough in today's world. I'd suggest finding compatible ram and getting 1gb of it, at least. Upgrading your Hard Drive would be great too, but that would just be a bonus as the HDD probably isn't the problem.

Go to C:\WINDOWS\Minidump and see if there are and files in there. If there are, post them so we can take a looksie.
