Default Correct File , Wrong Data (help)

Ok my pc is acting up , it seems im never gonna have an easy life with it even after its upgrade,
ok so one day a few weeks back i decided to listen to some of my old songs i had on my pc from years ago, so i load them up and well some track werent the actual songs i had years ago, they were snippets of other songs that are on my pc , this has happened for many files now on my computer ,
my video files sometimes play something totally wrong or play music that ive never heard before, let alone relised i had on my pc, and same goes for my pictures and stuff they just wont load saying theres errors, when its impossible (well i say impossible but anything is with microsoft) i viewed some of the pics a few month back and were fine but now they are just dead.

Also i just finished recording a demo with my band, ive copied the files onto dvd disk ready to put in my machine they copy across fine no errors but when i come to play them back , they once again are different files alltogether.

What can i possibly do to fix this, has anyone heard of this happening before

Hi, Madgaz182
Do a Hijackthis Scan as this might be a virus.
Also do a housecall online scan.
