Default [Pending] My basicly new pc BSOD
Well i was playing halo and i upped the settings on the size to 1024-1248 and it started lagging. I got a nvidia geforce fx 5200 1 gig ram and 4200+.And restarted and didnt lagg for a bit then it lagged and needed restart.Then i get a bsod and only see it for a 1/4 sec and cant get on even in safe mode.

I would recommend booting from your Windows Installation CD and activation the Restore Point rollback to the previous system files.

Heya X2,

before trying a restore point, can you goto System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and recovery Settings -> and uncheck the Automatically reboot option.
Make your computer crash again, adn the BSOD will stay on the screen. Please let me know what the stop error number(s) is/are.

Could it of been the graphics card drivers? they were on cd and not the newest.
