Default [Resolved] DLLMrvGINA.dll failed to load

Hi All,

This is my first post. I am really enjoy it here.

I have a big problem with my Dell D600 laptop. I am getting a "the Logon user interface DLL MrvGINA.dll failed to load" error. I restarted each time and it is still the same error. I loaded the the Dell reinstallation XP Professional SP2 and it did not pick up the cd in the drive.

I will be greatly appreciated if someone could help me!

Thank you very much,

tga

If you want to run the repair install of Windows, go into BIOS if you know how, it may be the delete key or F12 when you see the Dell logo on bootup. Go into the BIOS and check that your CD Drive is listed first in the boot process.

After pressing the f12 key, it gave five options (Internal HDD, CD/DVD/CD-RW Drive, Cardbus NIC, Onboard NIC and Diagnostics). I down-arrow key to CD/DVD section but it did not pick the CD in the drive. It gave me the same error again.

Thanks,
tga

Did you save your change as you exited the BIOS?

With most computers, you press the Delete key during boot up. You might get the boot up listing page ... press ESC ... then resume pressing the Delete key.

That should get you into the BIOS.

Be sure that the order of boot up is the only thing you change assuming it needs changing. If you are not sure, you can alway exit without saving and try it again with a reboot. If you are sure of what you did, exit with saving.

Good Luck...

I pressed f8 and went to the BIOS in safe mode. Restored to the old restore point from yesterday. Now, I need to fix the Netgear again to get back with internet with that laptop.

Thanks for your help!
