Ya it does allot more than show us what is wrong with a pc. I have been using it for allot more than what it is for. But its a good program so it does allot more than expected.. And free lol.

Right ok ive now tried using HJT exactly as described but when i click "delete file on reboot" it pops up with a box to point towards the file like you said, however the option to select this icon is not there thus meaning i cannot delete it!?

Looks like it's gunna be the registry way, can you follow the instructions in my previous post?

i can give it a go ill let you know how i get on but i aint the best when it comes to things like this but your instructions seem cool..............

Wierd I can point it to any icon on my desk? And you cannot change the properties of it to see if it is supposed to be read only or not..

ok ive got as far as the last instruction however then i got a bit stuck?

Open the resulting .reg file with notepad and paste the results in a post???????

i exported and saved the file as "namespace" to my documents then didnt know what you meant by "the resulting .reg file?
