Windows XP/2000 - proxy settings wont allow posted in the Operating Systems forums; when i try to play media player a box appears saying proxy settings are not right or somthing im new to computers can anyone help. thanks....

OK, try going into Windows Media Player and copy/pasting the EXACT error message you receive.
