I have a desktop running XP Home Edition and a laptop running XP Professional. On my laptop I have a briefcase which contains all the important files I need to take away with me, but I am having a problem with certain .pdf files. To save space on both my PCs, I archive all Office documents which I have finished editing as .pdf files, created by using the freeware PDF995 software. For some reason briefcase ignores most (but not all) these files when synchronising. I guess it is something to do with file attributes but I can't find any visible difference between those set for the files which do not work and for those other files which do work. Has anyone else experienced this problem or can anyone suggest a possible solution please?
