Hey my cd burner will not burn playlists anymore. Just out of the blue it stopped working. and error comes up in the Itunes top center that says "disk burner or software not found. . ." but yet i can brun cd's on "RecordNow!' fine, with no problem at all. I sent a message to Itunes troubleshooting and they havn't replied yet. I also looked on the Itunes Troubleshooting page and they said to run diagnostics. i did that and sent it ot them as well. Someone please help!

Suggest you uninstall Itune, then reinstall Itune.

But first, suggest you run an AntiVirus program to make sure you haven't picked up a bug.

actually i have recently just cleaned my computer of stuff that souldn't be on there so i don't know what the deal is. i just re-installed Itunes and it still won't let me brun cd's. the same error message comes up.

Have you an Antivirus program on the computer?

yes i have McAfee, SpySweeper, and Spybot S & D. i also used to have Spyware Doctor.

Have you run them, since this problem started?
If now, suggest you run all of them and let us know the results.

Yes. I just cleared out my computer yesterday. I got Spylocked and other spyware and viruses off of my computer. it is totally clean. the problem started before i got those off, and still persists now that they are off.
