Windows XP/2000 - PC Freezing when playing video posted in the Operating Systems forums; you guys are done with me eh? Thank you for all the advice, if/when i figure this thing out i will reply here and let you know....

some more info ....

ran the PC on the BIOS setup screen and it stayed running with no problems overnight.

same thing when running in SAFE mode

i have no idea what this means, but i bet its useful info

some more info ..

monitored task manager while it was flickering and before it froze ... memory was about 50% used, but CPU usage was at 80% or so ... and the pc was idle!

no idea what that means, just thought id let you know lol
