Default [Fixed] black screen after windows load up

right well hi evryone new to these forums but realy need help basicly my pc (its only a few month old) was running fine last night and i shut it down like i usualy do and went to bed.how ever this morning when i loaded up after the windows load up screen (the one with the blue load up bar) the screen goes blank. when this has hapend i am unable to use the mouse and key board.

i switched of my pc a few time and ran in normal mode but still had the same problem.i then started in safe mode (wich runs like normal) and i set my system to 1,2,3 and 4 days before but it does not seem to fix it.

i have looked at many sights but they all confuze me or i slightly understand ut dont want to go uninstalin things till someone has given there view about it.

Have you changed the resolution installed any updates recently?

Personally I'd boot into VGA mode and change the resolution to see if that helps things, if not I'd boot to VGA mode again, uninstall your graphics drivers, boot into normal mode (hopefully windows should use the generic VGA driver) and then install the latest drivers for your card.

Not sure what the other techs think.

Try this - boot into Safe Mode - then My Computer - right click on C: drive - then Properties - then Tools - then Error Checking - tick the top box

Report back

(i thought of doing the error check before you sugested it i am not making up he time it took ^^)

i uninstaled/reinstaled my grapchics card and then did the error check they both asked me to restart
i restarted and the error check came up it took about and hour and when it was finished said it would restart but it did not so i turned my pc of and when i loaded up it wanted to do the scan again...i let it but had the same outcome then when i tride to skip the eror check but it it basicly has the same effect as doing the scan and i have to restart manualy.... now these means i can not see if either of these things have fixed my problem. and on top of this when i run safe mode or any other modes it come up with lots of lines of writing and then stops and stays on the screen.

is my pc compleatly f****d this seems a bit anying seeing as it was running fine yesterday....

Hi pokooo, i've seen this happen before

Boot into safe mode, reinstall your chipset drivers...reboot back into safe mode, reinstall your video card drivers...reboot

Should be fine.
