ok new problem, my soundcard must be messed up, i have a plantronics headset, no problems before, one day i couldnt use it any more, music was faded, youtube i cudent even hear, so i got fed up, i started to use a speaker that i plugged in... worked just fine.. now i need a mic, so i plug in the old plantronics, and youtube works, mostly, and itunes i noticed plays main soloist, but 2nd guy is faded and the music is wierd, i dont know what kind of soundcard i have, i really need a mic for teamspeak, and my mic doesnt work at all!!!!!

In the device manager duz it have any question marks. Have you tried reintalling an updated driver? you can get it here Customer Support: Downloads
