I'd say "overkill"-- if you have decent Firewall/AV/Scan for Spyware regularly-- this would be unnecessary.

Check out RoboForm from my sig-- no typing of passwords
and they are all encrypted. You set a Master Password-- it will automatically log you out after an adjustable time-period-- so nobody can acess it directly. I could not function without this app.

you are welcome-- Roboform is an app I have owned/used for years.
The license is forever-- for the paid version-- updates come all the time--(so you know they are constantly tweaking/adding features)
If you only use a few passwords (not recommended by me) the free version saves up to 25. I have approx 100. There is a random password generator-- you set parameters (number of characters/symbols/numbers) click 'generate' and it automatically makes a secure password and saves it to windows clipboard. Then you choose a user ID-- click paste and login.
You can backup ALL your passwords with one click.

There is NO spyware, unlike Gator.

It is indispensable software-- to me. Best $30.00 I ever spent.

I can't see it being as effective as it says to be honest.

The key strokes have to be decrypted along the way somewhere otherwise you'd just be typing babble.

Sounds like a browser plugin, how does it work with other applications.

Heh, maybe I'm just a skeptic, sounds like fluff to me though.

I agree with you there after all a keylogger is considered to be spywhere/malware . so it if the above is install I wouldn't bother.
