Default Need help with start up.

Hi all. I'm new here so i'm not sure if this is the right part of the forums to ask this, but my computer starts up really slow. I just got rid of all viruses but yet its still slow. So i'm guessing its got something to do with all my start up programs. So i was wondering if someone could lend me a hand with fixing up my computer. Or if there's a program that i could use to sort out my start up programs so windows loads faster.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Welcome to the PCHF Mike,

First thing is to double check to make sure all viruses are removed. We've got an extremely good method of doing this.

Can you please follow the prework link in my signiture and post the resulting logs back here for our security team to look through? Once they're done I'll give you extra help

Hello Ashura.

Logs look more or less clean, just download and run a scan with CCleaner:
|MG| Free Download - CCleaner Slim (No Yahoo Toolbar, English) 1.39.502
Run the installer, and uncheck the option to install Yahoo toolbar (unless you want Yahoo toolbar).
Once installed, run CCleaner click the Windows [tab]
Select the following:

Next: click Options click the Settings tab
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.", click Ok
Then click Run Cleaner (bottom right).

How is your startup now?
