im with virgin 2.2mb speedtouch now and get connection problems and lag on game with lots of players.

Since VirginMedia bought out NTL & Telewest they're providing cable, I suggest you look at the cable alternative since it's much more reliable and cut's out a lot of the variables (such as rubbish BT provided lines, filter issues etc etc) from ADSL.

Cable is also capable of much higher speeds.

This is assuming you can get cable in your area of course.

ok, i cant get cable in my area but i found a site which list broadband in my area, the 8mb ones are:

BT Option 1 5gb £8.95 (first 6 months) 18month
Orange Unlimited Unlimited £19.99 12month
Plusnet Option 1 1gb £9.99 1month
BT Option 2 8gb £13.99 (first 6 months) 18month
Virgin Bundle 1 Unlimited £19.99 1month

All these are 8mb, i just dont know if there all 'always connected'. Which do you suggest?
