Every time I run SpySweeper it will run for maybe an hour and then freezes...it is working
when it is runing as the log window shows problems it has found ( mostly cookies)but
then freezes...
Any ideas or help will be appreciated,

howdy hefs...
An Hour? ![]() When you run it press cntrol alt and delete to bring up your task amnager.. How many cpu cycles is it taking up?

Thanks for the come back...
I started to run it again and did the Task Mgr...jumps all over the place from 36% to 100% seems to hang in the 60-75% mostly...when it hung up it I did the Task Mgr and it was hung on 100%... Thanks Hefs |

ok hefs. Lets do a hijackthis log.. Download hijack this
MajorGeeks.Com - Contacting Download Site do a log file and upload it as a .txt. do another thread in the hijackthis forum and I will have a look at it.. Spysweeper will take allot of cpu cycles but should not take an hour to run.. http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthis-logs/

I posted my Hijack log on the Hijack site a couple of days ago but no one has looked at it
yet... I even tied running Spy Sweeper in "safe mode" and the same thing happened...it runs to the same place each time...but it is not on the same file as I can see...frustrating.. Thanks, Hefs |
