Default Window explorer error messages

Ok this has got to be the weirdest thing ive experienced ever..

I was using limewire and it crashed for no reason, after that i couldnt boot the program up anymore at all, so i uninstalled it. The shared folder thats associated with the program that holds my files cant be touched, if i even try to click on it i get a windows explorer error message and cant open the folder at all.

Even if i try to scan that folder for virus's the virus program will crash. If i do a windows search for the folder the search will crash.

I would like to delete this folder or even access it. I hope this isn't some virus

Ok i used the program, when i used the browse function to locate the folder the program crased like all the others.

Then i put in the folder path in the brackets and it gave me the file doesnt seem to exits message, even though it accepted that the path was correct.

When i try to defrag my harddrive when it gets to a certain poitn it crashes also.

Ive download 2 other virus scans and those crash when i scan the folder. This is some straight up crazy stuff going on here....why me!

Edit: I just used delete doctor and it gave me this message "access violation at address 003e48c3. read of address 31206f7d" when i tried to delete that folder..

Hey there Clive,

Try doing the delete etc in Safe Mode (tap F8 when the pc start sto boot)

I'll also pm the security team, they might be able to help out more, this is very strange behaviour and doesn't really sound hardware related.
Standby and I'll put the word out.
